Ingersoll District Curling Club

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I wish to welcome you to the 2025-2026 curling season.  We have been working very hard preparing for the upcoming season.  We strive to make our curling club the best value for your recreation time.  In addition to our curling leagues and club bonspiels, we are bringing back Trivia Night, Talents and Treasures Night and Curling Day in Canada events.  Please check the events and dates in our information package.

The Soup Committee has been preparing for an exciting full season of soup sales.  More information will be forthcoming as the season progresses.

A huge thank you to retiring Board of Director members, Peter Canning-President, Karen Canning-Membership, Conrad Lower-Ice, Jeremy Bushell-Bar and Jeff Minler-House.

Our club is a member owned club.  Why not bring out your friends and neighbours to enjoy our fun?  New members are always welcome.  Our opening week is an ideal time to introduce family and friends to our club.

Our recent Trillium grant and the associated work with it will bring stability to our club for many years to come.  Detailed information on the details of the work and the timing will be forthcoming as we digest the project further.

Our amazing ice tech Wayne will be beginning the process of ice installation in early September.  He will be looking for the usual great response for assistance.

I would like to acknowledge three long term employees at our club.  Bartenders Lisa, Brigitte and our custodian Colleen all have been at the club for over 20 years!  Please be sure to thank them when you see them.

Wishing you a great curling season!

Cheers,

Aden Corcoran

 IDCC President 2025/26
